  • Each engagement is unique, but I’ve been most often requested for 3-6 months, and have gotten excellent results with clients within that amount of time.

  • Not necessarily. Most business leaders only have an inkling that something isn’t working right with a hunch of what it might be. Together, we’ll work on what would make the biggest difference to you and your business right now, and tackle the steps to get there.

  • Absolutely. I love working with small businesses, and have for years. Whatever your system is, I get it. Reach out, and we’ll see what makes sense for you.

  • Not quite. Fractional executives are brought on to fill a pre-defined role at a percentage of their time and rate, making them affordable for scaling startups. Magdalena Method is a targeted approach to a business gap — it stretches beyond a single role, and is designed to hand the results back to the team, sustainably. While there are similarities to fractional operations, business consulting, founder coaching, and even ADHD coaching, Magdalena Method is tailored to what you and your business need, not a blanket solution limited to a single profile.

  • Consultants are essentially advisors. What I do is more than that: I build the thing I advise you to take on — specifically to match your unique way of working — so it’s sustainable for both you and your business. Whether it’s a team that’s moving too fast to pick up a new process or a small business owner who has always done it this way, finding the precise way to intercept a habit to make it stick is kind of my thing.

  • Just me! I have a trusted, vetted network of vendors and partners who I can loop into specific projects if requested (such as photographers I would recommend for headshots or product photos) but I never outsource the work I do for you.

  • I use AI judiciously and transparently. Building systems to match your patterns and habits requires human thought, and human creativity, as does identifying your needs and strategizing the way to get them covered. All of the core of what I do is done the old fashioned way, with my skill and experience. However, there are times when AI can help us both work faster, and cover more ground in the time we have, such as research mapping. I will always be up front with you about when I plan on using AI as support for our work, and respect your preferences. On the flip side, if part of our work would benefit from building an agent for you, I can do that too.

  • Your business is private. Period. In the age of publicity, I believe discretion is a superpower, and confidentiality is sacred. If you have any concerns about protecting your business, reach out, and we can check off the specifics.

  • I work with all kinds of industries - from big holding companies to local cleaning services, from construction contractors to nonprofits. If what you need will not benefit from the experience I have, I will be up front with you about that on our intake call, and recommend alternatives if I can. Who I will not work with are people who engage in unethical business practices, or view their employees as only a means to profit.

  • If what you need is outside my wheelhouse, I will say so up front. I don’t want you to waste your time or money — none of us win that way. However if I do have someone I can recommend for what you need, I’ll be happy to share my network.

  • I have no location limits on who I work with. I am based out of New York, and I’m able to accommodate EST, CST, MST, PST, and EMEA time zones for my clients.

  • Nope! I want you to retain what we did together, and will always respond to emails about our projects.
